This position involves preparing and maintaining accurate accounting records to reflect the organization’s financial position and operating results, following established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include designing and interpreting complex financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, participating in performance improvement efforts, and communicating the results of activities such as monthly close, service line profitability, cost accounting, capital projects, budgets, and market data both in writing and orally.
Candidates should have recent hospital experience in decision support, budgeting, or cost accounting.
Requirements include a minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience in professional/technical roles and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a preference for a master’s degree in these fields.
Additional duties involve completing assigned goals and supporting financial management activities.
