The Controller reports to the Director of Operations and oversees a finance team of 3-4 staff, ensuring effective daily operations through cross-department collaboration.
- Develops and enforces internal controls to safeguard assets and promote transparency.
- Leads budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting, fostering continuous improvement.
- Supports staff training on financial concepts and provides leadership to meet financial goals.
- Implements consistent accounting policies and manages annual audits and tax filings.
- Collaborates with development teams on grants and contract budgets, guiding transitions from application to activation.
- Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 7-10 years of experience, CPA/MBA preferred, with strong leadership, analytical, and technical skills in systems like QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
