Contracts & Compliance Specialist
Are you a detail-driven contracts professional who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment? We’re looking for a Contracts & Compliance Specialist to play a key role in managing the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

In this role, you’ll partner across teams, mitigate risk, and help drive operational excellence within an innovative aerospace and defense organization.
What You’ll Do
• Own the Contract Lifecycle
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements including NDAs, subcontracts, and teaming agreements
• Manage contracts from proposal through closeout (“cradle-to-grave”)
• Interpret terms and conditions and provide guidance to internal stakeholders
• Support proposal development and ensure pricing compliance

Drive Compliance & Reduce Risk
• Ensure adherence to regulations including FAR, DFARS, and ITAR
• Monitor contract performance and proactively identify compliance risks
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for DCAA and internal reviews
• Support export control and data protection requirements

Collaborate Across the Business
• Partner with operations, finance, procurement, and sales teams
• Interface with U.S. government agencies, customers, and suppliers
• Advise on contractual risk and compliance strategies

Improve Processes & Visibility
• Track contract status, deliverables, and key compliance metrics
• Identify opportunities to enhance contract lifecycle processes
• Support internal training on compliance and regulatory requirements

What You Bring
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2–5+ years of experience in government contracting
• Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and contract fundamentals

Preferred Experience
• Background in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with ITAR/export compliance
• Experience with ERP or contract management systems
• CPCM certification
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
