Job Title: Contract Services Assistant Manager

Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Contract Services Assistant Manager to support theoversight and delivery of custodial and floor care operations across contracted and inhouse services. Working under the direction of the Contract Services Manager, this role plays a vital part in ensuring highquality service delivery, effective supervision, and strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate brings technical knowledge of custodial operations, proven supervisory experience, and the ability to support program development while advancing Goodwill's mission in the community.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily custodial and floor care operations for both contracted and inhouse services.
  • Train, support, and assistCustodial Supervisors to ensure consistent performance and service quality.
  • Assist indeveloping custodial and floor care programs, schedules, and timelines for service contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and customer service expectations.
  • Maintain detailed operational files, records, and documentation related to services and contracts.
  • Provide excellent customer service while serving as a point of contact with internal teams and external partners.
  • Support additional operational and supervisory duties as assigned by the Contract Services Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in custodial, floor care, or a related trade.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supervising three (3) or more employees.
  • Valid Florida driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Working knowledge of custodial and floor care equipment, including wringers, buffers, vacuums, burnishers, extractors, and polishers.
  • Knowledge of floor systems and maintenance methods, including VCT, ceramic tile, carpet, concrete, and wood surfaces.
  • Knowledge of proper handling and safe use of custodial and floor care chemicals.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to train, motivate, and oversee team members.
  • Ability to maintainaccurate records and detailed files.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with staff, crews, and business partners.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push heavy cleaning equipment.
