Schedule: 12-hour Day/Night Rotating Shifts
Hours: 36 Guaranteed Work Week (36 GWW)

Compensation:
Hourly Rate:$41.00 – $46.00 per hour

Summary
HCEPInc is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join a collaborative acute care team in Wailuku, Hawaii. This opportunity provides comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients while working alongside physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals in a fast-paced hospital environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong critical care skills, current certifications, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Essential Functions
Provide respiratory assessment, treatment, and monitoring for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments in accordance with physician orders.
Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation and other advanced respiratory support.
Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response and code situations.
Perform patient assessments and recommend appropriate respiratory interventions.
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, equipment, and disease management.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
Current Hawaii Respiratory Therapist License required.
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
