HR Talent Partner (Contract)

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $40–$45/hour

Are you a people-focused HR professional who thrives on building strong partnerships and supporting business leaders? We are seeking an experienced HR Talent Partner to join a dynamic organization in Chicago. This hybrid contract role will support talent acquisition initiatives, employee relations, workforce planning, and HR programs that drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to support recruiting and workforce planning efforts.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices.
  • Support talent management initiatives, employee engagement programs, and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify staffing needs and develop effective hiring plans.
  • Assist with policy interpretation, compliance, and HR process improvements.
  • Analyze talent metrics and workforce trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Participate in special HR projects and organizational initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner, or Talent Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience partnering with managers and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/ATS platforms.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting multiple business units or departments.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with workforce planning, employee engagement, and talent development programs.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or related certification is a plus.
