We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Maintenance Technician for a consulting contract in the Real Estate Industry. This unique role will offer the opportunity to showcase your technical skills and engage with various aspects of property maintenance in a fast-paced and innovative manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, problem-solving professional with a strong background in equipment repair, electrical systems, preventive maintenance, landscaping, painting, and property maintenance. This position requires at least 2 years of related experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Property Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards.
2. Performing preventive maintenance tasks to keep machinery and equipment in good working condition.
3. Troubleshooting electrical systems and handling minor repairs to prevent major damages and breakdowns.
4. Performing various landscaping tasks to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property.
5. Carrying out painting tasks as needed, ensuring a high standard of workmanship.
6. Responding to emergency maintenance requests as required and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
7. Assisting in the development and implementation of systems and procedures for effective property maintenance.
8. Preparing and maintaining records of scheduled maintenance procedures and incidents.
9. Recommending proactive upgrades and replacements to avoid future equipment failures.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Property Maintenance Technician position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
2. Proven experience in equipment repair, electrical systems, preventive maintenance, landscaping, painting, and property maintenance.
3. Strong knowledge of machinery and electrical systems.
4. Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. High school diploma or equivalent. A certification in a relevant field is preferred.
10. Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor.
