Description

This seasonal, contract position is a field role attending onsite open enrollment and benefit fair meetings at client locations. Candidates may present on benefits or answer individual questions and should provide follow‑up information electronically to Delta Dental personnel. The position requires flexibility to adjust schedules based on seasonal needs, with availability from 8 AM to 5 PM local time, Monday through Friday. No benefits are available for this contract role; benefits are exclusive to permanent Delta Dental positions.ResponsibilitiesCompare and contrast dental plans in a group or one‑on‑one setting to help customers determine the best plan for their needs.Provide guidance to customers when Delta Dental is offered on a voluntary basis.Distribute printed plan information and answer questions about the plans offered.Refer members to customer service for issues that cannot be resolved on site.QualificationsAt least two years of experience in medical/dental insurance account management, benefits administration in Human Resources, or serving as a medical/dental carrier, representative, or insurance broker.High School diploma or GED.For residents of FL and KY, a valid insurance license is required.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; proof of automobile insurance with minimum liability limits required by the state of residence.Knowledge of dental plans and basic health insurance terminology.Knowledge of other languages is preferred.Base Pay InformationNational base pay estimate: $30.00 per hour; actual pay may vary based on assessment of knowledge, skills, experience, education, and internal equity.San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance eligibility: We will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.Background Check: This position requires a background check; qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered under applicable federal, state, and local laws.Work Authorization: Delta Dental will not sponsor work visas for this position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
