Title: Contract Manager I
Location: 100% remote. Worker can be located in USA or Canada and must be able to support EST or CST working hours.
Duration: Five months with potential for extension based on business need, budget approval and worker performance. Part-time (up to 30 hours per week)
Compensation: $28-$32/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Responsibilities
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for Canadian channel partners, government accounts, and selected U.S. SLED and commercial customers.
- Sales & Partner Support: Provide pre and post contracting support and assist partners with renewals.
- RFP Support: Manage NDAs, non standard agreements, and specialized government requirements (e.g., SACC clauses).
- Administration: Draft and review contracts, maintain the DocuSign repository, and track expiration and renewal dates.
- Localization: Adapt global Avaya templates and policies for regional use.

Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in contract management, contract negotiation, or legal operations.
- Strong understanding of commercial and public sector contracting.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and contract drafting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in IT technology industry.
- French speaking, with ability to read/write French to support Quebec.
- Experience with Canadian federal/provincial government contracting.
- Familiarity with DocuSign and the use of Google G Suite.
- Experience in technology or channel partner environments.
