This role offers mentorship, a supportive environment, and room for growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance defense litigation and be comfortable handling deposition-related tasks.ResponsibilitiesConduct and defend depositions, including witness preparation and post-deposition analysisDraft and serve deposition notices, subpoenas, and related discovery documentsPerform legal research and analysis to support deposition strategy and case developmentCollaborate with internal teams and clients to assess case strengths, weaknesses, and settlement optionsPrepare case files, exhibits, and summaries for hearings and trial preparationCommunicate with opposing counsel regarding scheduling, discovery disputes, and case updatesAssist in drafting motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents as neededRequirementsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in the California State BarMinimum 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigationStrong understanding of civil procedure and deposition strategyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
