Client Overview:
Our client is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating women to be the next generation of finance leaders. Through tuition-free educational programs, mentorship opportunities, paid internships, and ongoing career support, our client helps college students build successful careers in investing and asset management. They are seeking an experienced and dedicated Contract HR Generalist to lead their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$50/hr - $65/hr Depending on experience

Position Overview:
The Contract HR Generalist serves as a key member of the Human Resources team, supporting a wide range of HR functions. This role partners with Hiring Managers to ensure a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Responsibilities include recruitment support, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Contract HR Generalist:
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions.
  • Administer employee benefits programs.
  • Support recruitment efforts by posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems.
  • Assist with employee relations matters.
  • Coordinate performance management.
  • Support training and development programs.
  • Prepare HR reports.
  • Process employment changes.
  • Collaborate with managers to address workforce planning and organizational needs.
  • Assist with leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other employee leave programs.
  • Support payroll processing.
Required Experience/Skills for the Contract HR Generalist:
  • Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience within the HR space.
  • A strong understanding of recruiting, employee relations, and employee benefits.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Contract HR Generalist:
  • Experience within the nonprofit or financial space is highly preferred.
  • A SHRM certification is nice to have, but not required.
  • A Project Manager certification is nice to have, but not required.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
