Description

Contract Coordinator is for overseeing contractors working/restoring Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This includes all engineering, purchasing, permits, construction, managing of field supervision/oversight and commissioning. As such, the candidate must have strong working knowledge of DC / AC electrical and control systems (directly with BESS preferred) and familiarity with associated civil / mechanical disciplines (i.e., projects can include foundations, underground conduits, container cooling / fire suppression systems, mechanical battery racking, etc.). In addition, the position is responsible for driving decisions and developing approaches with a number of internal and external groups (i.e., Engineering & Planning Teams / Firms, Business Management, Finance, Tax, Risk Management, Purchasing, Development, Land Owners, Site Operations, etc.). Will report and recieve support from the Project Manager. Candidates require 2-10 years of demonstrated Project Management / Planning experience in the areas of Electrical engineering and construction (preferably with BESS) as well as a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Direct experience with the construction, maintenance and/or operation of BESS sites is a plus, as is Project Management Certification (PMP), Professional Engineering Licenses (EIT/PE) and/or Six-Sigma Quality Belt Certification. The candidate will sit onsite at the BESS sites for both planning / engineering inspections and quality of work assurance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
