Contract Coordinator
Position Type: Temporary
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Assignment Length: Approximately 3-Months, possibly longer.
DESCRIPTION We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Coordinator to support the Contracting team with the full lifecycle of provider contracts. This role plays a key part in ensuring contracts are created, tracked, executed, and communicated accurately across departments.
This position will begin onsite for training and transition to a remote/hybrid schedule thereafter.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support all stages of the contract lifecycle (drafting, tracking, execution)
- Assist Contracting Manager and Director in preparing contract documents
- Draft contracts as needed and ensure accuracy of all documentation
- Set up and manage tracking of contracts through each stage of the process
- Maintain and manage all contract files and documentation
- Track and prioritize contracts with internal teams
- Work with Utilization Management to prepare, negotiate (within cost targets), and track Letters of Agreement (LOAs)
- Communicate and coordinate with physicians, provider offices, and internal departments
- Secure signatures from all parties, including Providers, Director, and Senior Management
- Send executed agreements to providers in a timely manner
- Provide contract details (e.g., reimbursement terms/pages) to internal teams such as Directory Support and Provider Portal Analyst
- Run reports and perform data analysis to support contracting activities
- Ensure provider contract files are complete, accurate, and up to date
- Support credentialing processes as needed
- Notify key internal departments of new or updated contract terms (e.g., CAP and FFS rates)
REQUIREMENTS- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Ability to start onsite for training before transitioning to remote/hybrid
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work across multiple teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in healthcare contracting, managed care, or provider relations
- Experience with contract tracking systems and reporting/analysis
