This role leads process improvement and development, cost and waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives. Tasks and responsibilities expected for this role include those captured by lower role specific levels.This role involves working closely with engineers, production technicians, and operations teams to support multiple programs and value streams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cross‑functional process development initiatives for complex UAV assembliesSupport PFMEA efforts with design and manufacturing engineering teamsOversee business process improvement initiatives for policy and strategy developmentDevelop and deploy site‑wide Lean initiatives and standardsResolve complex, cross‑disciplinary production issues with Lean Manufacturing principlesLead capacity planning and production scaling initiativesLead supplier audits, customer reviews, and compliance activitiesFollow AS9100, safety, and configuration control requirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience)5‑7 years of industrial, manufacturing, or process engineering experienceDemonstrated use of Lean Manufacturing principles and production systemsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly, and production equipmentExperience leading process improvement projects in a manufacturing environmentExperience with data and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Visio, or similar software preferredExperience applying statistical analysis tools, including SPC, process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, and DOE, to drive data‑based process improvementsStrong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem‑solving skillsDemonstrated leadership and continuous improvement mindsetPay range for this role$112,000 - $135,000 USDWhat's in it for youComprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more.401(k) with company match4 weeks of paid time off each year12 annual company holidaysIf you are passionate about unmanned aircraft technology and want to be a part of a dynamic and growing company, we would love to hear from you.
