We are currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to help drive operational excellence across our Distribution Centers. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about process improvement, data-driven decision making, and building more efficient, scalable operations.

What You'll Do
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, and 6S methodologies
- Analyze processes, identify waste, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and quality
- Facilitate value stream mapping and cross-functional improvement projects
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics
- Partner with Distribution Center leaders to standardize processes and implement best practices
- Support Warehouse Management System (WMS) adoption and process compliance
- Develop SOPs, training materials, and process documentation
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts
- Support change management initiatives tied to process and system improvements
- Travel to various locations to support implementation and sustainment
Requirements
- 1-5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operations, manufacturing, or distribution
- Experience with Lean, Kaizen, 6S, or similar process improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading projects and driving change across teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- Experience with WMS or ERP systems
- Background in building materials, manufacturing, or distribution

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and Value Stream Mapping.
- Competence in commonly used and specialized software.
- Strong command of Microsoft Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-paced and evolving environments.
- Basic knowledge of woodworking tools.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Flexibility and diplomacy when interacting with staff and coworkers.
- Ability to make informed decisions and influence decision-making.
