Continuity and Emergency Management Consultant
Location: Washington, DC | Duration: 6+ months | Onsite
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Support development of plans, procedures, and analyses related to continuity of operations, personnel accountability, evacuation and security, and asset risk management.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years professional experience supporting emergency preparedness, response, or federal disaster recovery programs
- 3 years of experience with continuity of operations (COOP) and continuity of government (COG) planning and program concepts such as Business Impact Analysis and Business Process Analysis
- 3 years of experience in emergency management, crisis management, risk management, continuity of operations, business continuity, hazard mitigation, critical infrastructure protection, or resilience
- 3 years of experience supporting or leading emergency preparedness or response initiatives including all hazard or scenario planning, program assessments, risk assessments, exercise planning, evaluation, control, and execution, after action reviews, continuity planning, supporting emergency management response or incident command activities
Preferred Skills:
- Very strong preference for experience in federal civil agencies and knowledge of federal continuity directives (FDCs)
