Job Summary

SHI is seeking a Content Strategist & Writer Healthcare to support our Healthcare business. This role is responsible for developing clear, compelling content that supports brand positioning, campaign performance, and product storytelling. The position blends content strategy, thought leadership, and product marketing writing, translating complex healthcare solutions into value-driven narratives that resonate with target audiences.

This role partners closely with product and solutions marketing, growth marketing, demand generation, sales, and subject matter experts to create content that educates, differentiates, and drives growth across the funnel.

Role Description

  • Develop and execute content strategies aligned to business goals, go-to-market motions, and healthcare audience needs, translating complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives

  • Collaborate with campaign managers, sales teams, field marketing, and subject matter experts to create accurate, relevant, value-driven content tailored to specific personas, industries, and buying stages

  • Write product-adjacent content, including solution briefs, one-pagers, FAQs, messaging frameworks, and web copy

  • Produce full-funnel, prospect-facing content such as blogs, eBooks, whitepapers, webinars, email copy, and landing pages

  • Ensure consistency in voice, messaging, and positioning across all channels

  • Support product and solution launches by creating sales- and campaign-aligned enablement content that supports prospecting and pipeline acceleration

  • Apply SEO best practices to improve content discoverability, search rankings, and organic performance across web and campaign assets

Skill Level Requirements

  • Proficiency in utilizing creative design applications such as Adobe Illustrator to create visually compelling graphics and designs. - Intermediate

  • Experience in using HTML and CSS for web design and development tasks. - Intermediate

  • The ability to apply SEO principles and best practices to enhance the visibility and performance of web designs. - Intermediate

  • Ability to create clear and effective technical documentation. - Intermediate

Other Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree in Communication or a related field, or relevant work experience required

  • 25+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or related roles

  • Proven ability to write for executive and professional audiences (B2B experience preferred)

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content organization skills

  • Ability to effectively utilize applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to enhance productivity and execute responsibilities efficiently

  • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events

Preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, health IT, SaaS, or enterprise technology

  • Familiarity with product marketing concepts, including positioning, personas, and value propositions

  • Experience creating sales-enablement or go-to-marketaligned content

  • Comfort collaborating with subject matter experts and translating technical input into market-ready content

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 which includes a base salary. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
