Join our dynamic and evolving GREF communications team in a role that offers opportunity for growth and innovation. Within Amazon, The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is responsible for managing the physical workplace - inclusive of programs, products, and services - that helps enable Amazonians to do their best work. The globally diverse team oversees Amazon's corporate offices in more than 60 countries. GREF programs, products, and services include day-to-day facilities management, on-site food and beverage offerings, commute programs, environmental health & safety, sustainability, launching new corporate offices, and moving employees.

As a content and channel operations manager, you"ll be leading strategy and driving operational effectiveness for our communications platforms used to inform and engage a very diverse population of Amazon corporate employees. These platforms include email, Slack, and internal website content. You'll help us Invent & Simplify our content strategy across GREF programs and corporate offices with globally scalable but locally relevant templates, guidelines, SOPs, and best practices. You'll work with product and tech teams to ensure our website content is optimized for SEO, AEO, and GEO, and you'll ideate and develop AI tools that help communications managers and site-level teams better understand how to leverage various comms channels and create and deploy content with speed and ease.

This position is perfect for professionals who excel in both communications and operational rigor. They will know how end users best digest content; they are equally proficient in editorial and technical writing; they have a strong understanding of AI; and they excel at project and program management. This role demands both strategic thinking and hands-on, tactical execution, a person who can take creative, big ideas for content and bring them to life in operationally efficient, sustainable, and scalable ways through clearly defined process. If you"re ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding position in a fast-paced, complex environment, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Key job responsibilities

  • Draft SOPs and guidelines for channel usage and content standards. Build repeatable, AI-assisted or manual workflows to scale content production and delivery.
  • Develop Slack, email, and website templates and write content that optimizes for both user experience and SEO (Search Engine Optimization), AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
  • Working cross-functionally with tech and product teams, develop AI tools to assist in channel monitoring and auto-response workflows.
  • Use reporting tools to analyze channel metrics and content effectiveness, evaluating audience engagement, traffic, conversion/click-thru rates, and ROI.
  • Leverage data and insights to identify areas for continuous improvement and evolve strategy, templates, and operations accordingly.

About the Company

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
