A leading investment bank, private equity firm, asset manager, or consumer-focused investment platform may seek a Consumer Goods Investment Officer to support investment analysis, transaction execution, and strategic advisory for consumer and packaged goods companies.

Support investment analysis and transaction execution for consumer goods and branded products companies
Build and maintain financial models (3-statement models, DCFs, LBOs, accretion/dilution analyses)
Conduct consumer goods industry research, including brand positioning, category growth, and competitive dynamics
Perform valuation, benchmarking, and profitability analyses for consumer companies
Assist in identifying strategic opportunities, including acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, and capital raises
Prepare investment memoranda, pitch books, and client presentations
Support M&A, capital markets, and restructuring engagements within the consumer sector
Assist with due diligence, data room coordination, and transaction execution workflows
Collaborate with senior bankers and investors across client coverage and deal teams
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong interest in consumer goods, CPG, retail brands, or consumer investing
Solid financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
Strong quantitative, communication, and presentation abilities
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate finance, or consumer-focused roles is beneficial
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools
