The Consumer Funding Representative plays a hands-on role in driving the lending experience from approval through funding across indirect auto, direct consumer, and residential/home equity products. This position offers involvement in the full loan lifecycle, working closely with dealers, branch teams, and Loan Servicing to deliver smooth, timely closings while ensuring accuracy and compliance. Indirect Auto Lending:
Review contracts received from auto dealers for completeness and accuracy
Fund approved dealer contracts in a timely manner
Deliver completed loan packages to the Loan Servicing Department
Prepare and mail dealer reserve statements and applicant declination notices
Maintain accurate records and reporting of funded loans
Direct Consumer Lending:
Prepare loan documentation for direct consumer loans, ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to customer signing
Verify all stipulations required for loan approval, including income documentation, insurance, and other conditions
Guide customers through the loan process, providing clear communication from approval to funding
Coordinate with branch staff to schedule loan signings and ensure a seamless funding experience
Ensure all executed loan documents are received, recorded, and uploaded into the loan system
Respond to customer inquiries regarding loan terms, conditions, and funding timelines
Residential / Home Equity Lending:
Execute rate locks for correspondent bank residential mortgages
Coordinate home equity closings
Prepare closing documentation for Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit
Ensure accurate disbursement of funds and submit completed files to Loan Servicing
Assist with HMDA reporting, as needed
Generate Loan Estimates for rate locks and change of circumstances in accordance with TRID guidelines
Ensure compliance throughout the home equity process, including adherence to SAFE Act, TRID, ECOA, HMDA, ATR/QM, Flood, and related regulations
Work with dealers and customers to research and resolve issues and answer questions
Follow all bank policies and procedures
Advise dealers of funding and reserve amounts
Contribute positively in a team-oriented environment
Associate’s degree (A.S.) or minimum of 2 years of related experience
Hourly Rate: $22 – $25 per hour
