About the Service - Family Connect
About Family Connect
Family Connect launched on 3 March 2025, replacing Warwickshire's Children and Families Front Door as part of the Families First transformation programme. It provides a single, consistent point of contact for all safeguarding-related enquiries and referrals for children and young people living in Warwickshire.
Family Connect is designed to ensure that children and families receive the right help at the right time. Through high-quality, purposeful and relational conversations with professionals and families, the service provides information, advice and guidance, enabling proportionate and timely decision-making and ensuring children are directed to the most appropriate support.
The service brings together Children's Social Care, information and advice services, and key partner agencies within two closely linked hubs:
This is an office-based role, with the potential for some home working following completion of induction. There is no direct face-to-face work with children and families; however, the role involves providing practice guidance and support to Social Workers and Child and Family Advisors across the service.
About the Role
We are excited to be recruiting a permanent 18.5 hours part time Consultant Social Worker to join our dynamic Family Connect team, providing countywide coverage with an office base in Warwick. This is a pivotal senior practitioner role, well suited to an experienced social worker who can model best practice, provide professional leadership and support the development of others.
