You'll help clients meet regulatory requirements, improve performance, and reduce risk—supporting sustainable operations and safer workplaces.What You'll BringRequiredBachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, environmental science, safety, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)2 – 3+ years of EHS, regulatory compliance, or sustainability experience (industry or consulting)Experience implementing or maintaining EHS management systemsWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulationsStrong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including technical reportingProficiency with spreadsheets and data tracking toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDriver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.Local candidates preferred.This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.PreferredCertifications such as CSP or CIH, or interest in pursuing themConsulting experience and ability to build client relationshipsExperience with corporate H&S strategy, safety culture, or serious injury/fatality preventionFamiliarity with environmental permitting and regulatory programs.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development, implementation, and improvement of EHS management systemsConduct EHS compliance audits and manage corrective actionsPerform risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysesProvide onsite EHS compliance support at client facilitiesDevelop and implement environmental programs (air, waste, stormwater, wastewater, and spill prevention)Lead or support industrial hygiene and exposure assessmentsTranslate regulatory requirements into practical, scalable solutionsManage multiple projects to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectationsCollaborate with ERM's global technical network to solve complex challengesBuild and maintain strong client relationships that support repeat businessContribute to the growth of ERM's EHS and Sustainable Operations practiceDevelop innovative solutions for complex EHS challenges and regulatory issues.Design and direct corporate H&S strategies across diverse industries.Manage projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule while exceeding client expectations.Develop and deliver training.Participate in EHS audits.Build and nurture client relationships to drive repeat business and expand ERM's market presence.CompensationFor the Consultant, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) position, the anticipated annual base pay is $75,646–$96,414 (USD).
