Consulting Utility Consultant - Transmission LinesWe are seeking experienced professionals to support utilities on large-scale transmission line programs in a consulting capacity. This is a high-impact, front-end role focused on helping clients evaluate, prioritize, and plan projects, with a strong emphasis on risk assessment, constructability, and overall project strategy rather than day-to-day field execution.Key Responsibilities:Partner with utility clients to assess and prioritize transmission projects based on risk, feasibility, and overall program goalsPerform deep-dive risk analysis across projects, including right-of-way, permitting, access planning, crossings, and constructability considerationsLead and contribute to constructability reviews and early-stage project planning effortsProvide guidance on project readiness, execution strategy, and long-range planning (12-18+ months ahead of construction)Support coordination between engineering, environmental/permitting, and construction teams to ensure projects are set up for successful deliveryParticipate in site walkdowns and client discussions to inform planning and decision-makingMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
