Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Construction Trades Recruiter who can harness their bilingual skills to attract and hire the best talent in the industry. This position is integral to our team, focusing on connecting qualified candidates with rewarding opportunities in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the construction trades and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and a second language, to support our diverse workforce and candidate pool.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to source and engage candidates for various construction trade positions.
Utilize bilingual communication skills to reach and attract a diverse range of candidates, ensuring inclusive and effective hiring processes.
Conduct interviews, evaluate applicants’ skills, and identify the most suitable candidates for open positions.
Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and align recruiting processes to meet project demands.
Maintain a high-quality candidate pipeline by leveraging job boards, recruitment fairs, and industry networks.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and application screening to conducting interviews and negotiating offers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements in recruitment practices.
Provide a positive candidate experience through timely communication and transparent processes.
Track and report on key recruiting metrics to assess recruitment productivity and suggest improvements.
Qualifications
Proven recruiting experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
Bilingual proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Exceptional ability to understand and evaluate construction trades and terminologies.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
