Responsibilities
Construction Technician
We are hiring a Construction Technician to support our Construction Team, responsible for completing interior and exterior residential repairs related to termite damage, general liability claims, and structural repairs, including crawl space access door rebuilds. This role is primarily focused on repair, rebuild, and restoration work, with general facility maintenance performed as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform interior and exterior residential repairs resulting from termite damage, general liability claims, and construction-related needs. Work may include framing, drywall, flooring, trim, doors, windows, siding, and minor structural repairs.
Rebuild, repair, and replace crawl space access doors and related framing, ensuring proper fit, durability, secure installation, and compliance with company standards.
Remove damaged materials and restore affected areas to pre-loss condition with quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Perform limited routine and preventive maintenance on building systems and structures, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general building components when required.
Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, systems, and structures to minimize downtime, reduce repair costs, and prevent future issues.
Respond promptly to urgent situations such as structural damage or safety hazards.
Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized trades, materials, or larger-scale repairs.
Work closely with service centers, construction leadership, and support teams to schedule repairs, communicate job status, and ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, inspections, materials used, and job progress in accordance with Northwest policies and safety requirements.
