Position Title: Construction Surveillance Technician I (CST I)
Location: Kirtland AFB, NM
Position Description:
The Construction Surveillance Technician’s primary function is to provide day-to-day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) construction efforts.
We are seeking a CST I to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:- Assess, identify and communicate recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems
- Identify threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks
- Draft security incident reports and brief government and civilian agencies, including military senior leaders
- Manage uniformed escort personnel and associated logs
- Assign, train, and brief site security duties and ensure timely reporting of security incidents to the site lead
- Follow and enforce customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative
- Conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces
- Photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and oversight of team members
Qualifications:
Required: - 1-2 years of related experience
Desired:- Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705(on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree is desired and counts toward 4 years of experience
- Associate’s degree counts toward 2 years of experience
Security Clearance: - Top Secret clearance required
- Ability to obtain Top Secret SCI + Polygraph
