Construction Supervisor/Coordinator —Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Construction
Canton, TX | Direct Hire | Full-Time | $70, 000–$75, 000/year

Do you have project and crew supervisory experience in Outside Plant construction? Are you looking for a long-term home to grow your project/construction management career? TekCom Resources is hiring a field-based Construction Supervisor/Coordinator for a direct-hire role with a fast-growing telecom construction firm in the Canton, TX area, supporting a major, nationally active broadband service provider.

In this role, you'll oversee several OSP construction projects —from pre-project prep through crew oversight, quality control, and post-project wrap-up. Visiting field sites to observe work in progress is a core part of this job. Site visits will keep you within 1–2 hours of Canton;this is not a remote position, and a personal or company vehicle is required (mileage reimbursed).

What you'll do

Perform quality control on completed work and ensure crew compliance with company standards
Track project progress against schedule and report updates to management and clients
Manage administrative functions: contractor invoicing, equipment/supply availability, and progress documentation
Enforce internal and external safety protocols on all job sites
Coordinate with other teams and departments to keep projects moving to completion

What we're looking for

At least 6 months of OSP (Outside Plant) construction experience required
1–3 years of fiber construction experience, ideally including fiber splicing, preferred
Experience tracking project financials and managing internal and/or contracted crews
Comfort communicating directly with clients and management on progress milestones
Willingness to visit job sites in and around the market 5 days/week

Compensation & Benefits

$70, 000–$75, 000 annual salary
