My client is a fast-growing general contractor based in Greenbelt, MD, specializing in K-12, municipal, and interior renovation projects across the DMV and Baltimore County. Since opening its doors in 2012, the company has experienced significant growth-doubling revenue in 2024 to $27 million and expanding its team to nearly 70 employees. Description

My client is actively seeking an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent to support projects in Norfolk and Richmond, VA, with a preference for candidates who bring experience in transportation-related scopes.

  • Support day-to-day field operations on assigned projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
  • Ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on-site
  • Assist with project documentation, reporting, and inspections
  • Work closely with Project Managers and senior leadership

Profile

  • 2-5+ years of construction experience in a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent role
  • Exposure to public or infrastructure-related projects preferred
  • Experience in transportation work is highly desirable, including:
    • Maritime bridge repairs
    • Structural repairs for light rail systems
    • Walkway/panel replacement projects
  • Strong field coordination and communication skills
  • Motivated, growth-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
