Job DescriptionLead all on-site construction activities for public agency projects (MTA, SCA, DASNY, etc.)Ensure full compliance with NYC DOB regulations, permits, and inspectionsMaintain a safe jobsite and enforce Chapter 33 requirements at all times Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and site logistics in active/occupied environmentsManage project schedules, sequencing, and daily field operationsConduct daily site walks, safety inspections, and maintain DOB logbooksReview drawings and ensure all work aligns with approved documentsIdentify and immediately correct unsafe conditions on siteInterface with agency representatives, inspectors, and ownership teamsOversee inspections, punch lists, and project closeoutThe Successful ApplicantA successful Superintendent should have:Active NYC DOB Construction Superintendent License (required)8-20+ years of construction field experience in NYCProven experience on public sector / agency-driven projects (MTA, SCA, DASNY, etc.)Strong knowledge of NYC Building Code, DOB processes, and inspectionsAbility to manage safety, compliance, and documentation at a high levelExperience working in union environments and regulated job sitesStrong leadership skills managing multiple trades and field teamsDetail-oriented with the ability to maintain compliance-heavy projectsOSHA / SST certifications requiredWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000 annually.
