Description

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for a $71M, 280-unit ground-up multifamily development.
  • Manage daily site operations, subcontractors, schedules, safety, quality control, and project logistics.
  • Coordinate extensive sitework, slab-on-grade construction, elevated podium concrete work, and multi-story wood-frame construction.
  • Work closely with the Senior Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Supervise and mentor two Assistant Superintendents throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive project schedules while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
  • Coordinate inspections, permitting requirements, and project closeout activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and ownership teams.

Profile

A successful Superintendent - Multifamily should have:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor.
  • Proven experience leading ground-up multifamily construction projects.
  • Experience managing wood-frame apartment developments.
  • Strong knowledge of slab-on-grade and elevated podium concrete construction.
  • Background overseeing significant site development and sitework packages.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project schedules.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Local or regional knowledge of the Raleigh-Durham construction market is preferred
