Opportunity for growth with a major Chicago-based general contractor specializing in light industrial projects across the Chicagoland area.
About the role:
- Lead project administration, technical direction, and management of interior construction projects.
- Handle bids, develop subcontracts, and oversee estimating and take-offs.
- Manage project buyout, review submittals, and coordinate RFIs and submittals.
- Develop site logistics, oversee inspection schedules, and ensure plans meet owner specifications.
- Manage schedules, safety reports, and conduct project meetings with stakeholders.
- Build relationships with vendors and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Read blueprints, CAD files, and understand municipal codes.
Requirements include experience in light industrial construction, ground-up projects, OSHA 30, a technical degree, and 5+ years of industry experience. Strong communication skills and a stable work history are essential.
