Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee residential and commercial projects throughout the Hartford area. The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating field operations, managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest quality standards. Description

• Manage daily site operations from groundbreaking through project completion
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Monitor project schedules and milestone achievements
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce jobsite safety protocols
• Maintain project quality standards and ensure compliance with contract documents
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients
• Complete daily reports, site logs, and progress updates
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively

Profile

A successful Construction Superintendent should have:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience on commercial and/or residential projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Experience managing subcontractors and project schedules
• OSHA certification preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver's license
