You will be the go-to person on-site, leading teams, managing subcontractors, and liaising with clients. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects, from inception to completion.

Job Details

Responsibilities

1. Oversee all field operations to ensure that project milestones are met and adhere to approved budgets and timelines.
2. Coordinate and schedule inspections with local jurisdictions and third-party agencies.
3. Review and coordinate submittals from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they are complete and comply with project specifications.
4. Lead and manage on-site construction teams to ensure high performance and productivity.
5. Develop and implement project work plans and make revisions as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
6. Foster a safety-first culture by enforcing strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
7. Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
8. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality standards.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues related to plans and specifications.
10. Prepare and deliver progress reports to management and clients.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in managing field operations, coordinating inspections, and reviewing and coordinating submittals.
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety guidelines.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
8. Proficiency in construction management software.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
10. Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) would be an advantage.
