Position Overview
The Site Safety Officer (SSHO) is responsible for managing all aspects of jobsite safety for assigned projects. This includes developing, coordinating, and enforcing safety plans and procedures in compliance with contract requirements, EM-385 standards, OSHA regulations, RQC's internal Safety Management System, and the project-specific Accident Prevention Plan (APP). The SSHO works closely with the project team to ensure safe, efficient execution of work and may supervise daily activities of safety staff or other assigned personnel.
This is a fully on-site position. While local candidates are preferred, travel or relocation may be necessary depending on project needs.
