    Job Description

    OVERVIEW

    The Lead Renovation Manager provides on-site technical leadership for laboratory renovation activities at up to three Indonesian military hospital facilities. This individual manages day-to-day construction activities, coordinates subcontractors, ensures work complies with applicable standards, and oversees phased renovation execution within an active medical facility environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead all on-site renovation and refurbishment activities across assigned facilities
    • Manage construction subcontractors, coordinate work packages, and resolve on-site technical issues
    • Review construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
    • Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), permits-to-work (PTWs), and job safety analyses (JSAs)
    • Monitor construction schedule and report progress to the Project Manager
    • Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities
    • Ensure compliance with Indonesian building codes, environmental regulations, and project safety requirements
    • Support development of in-country permitting and approval documentation packages

    Basic Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, or related discipline
    • Minimum 10 years of construction/renovation management experience, with at least 3 years on healthcare or laboratory facilities
    • Demonstrated experience managing renovation in occupied or operationally active facilities
    • Familiarity with BSL-2 facility requirements, HVAC/ventilation systems, and laboratory-specific construction standards preferred
    • Indonesian Professional Engineer (PII) registration or equivalent preferred
    • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia required; English proficiency required
