We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager with 15+ years of public works delivery to lead complex NYSCA projects involving restoration and new construction. This is a senior‑level role for a proven leader who understands regulated environments and knows how to deliver mission‑critical work.

Our client is a respected public works general contractor with a strong portfolio across Queens and the greater NYC area. They specialize in NYSCA, municipal, and government‑funded projects and are known for technical expertise, strong compliance standards, and long‑term relationships with public agencies.

Description

    • Lead multiple NYSCA public works projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
    • Oversee restoration and new construction scopes in occupied and high‑risk environments.
    • Manage project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and agency stakeholders.
    • Control budgets, schedules, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and compliance documentation.
    • Drive project strategy, risk management, and issue resolution while maintaining strict regulatory adherence.

Profile

A successful Senior Project Manager should have:

    • 15+ years of experience managing public works construction projects, including NYSCA.
    • Strong background in restoration and new construction within regulated environments.
    • Preferred degree in Construction Management and/or Civil Engineering.
    • Proven leadership ability managing large, complex teams and multiple stakeholders.
    • Highly organized, detail‑driven, and confident operating in compliance‑heavy settings.
