Job Details

You will be the on-the-ground champion of our Environmental Health & Safety program, spending most of your time at active construction and service sites to observe, coach, and reinforce safe work practices. Working closely with field leadership, you’ll conduct inspections, deliver training, and follow through on corrective actions to ensure compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations. This is a hands-on, field-forward role for someone who enjoys daily site interaction, coaching crews, and making measurable improvements to safety performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver new-hire safety onboarding, toolbox talks, and routine field safety meetings.
  • Perform routine and unannounced job site inspections, audits, and job hazard analyses.
  • Identify unsafe conditions/behaviors and coordinate corrective actions with supervisors.
  • Assist with incident, injury, and near-miss investigations; support root cause analysis and corrective measures.
  • Maintain safety documentation: inspection logs, training records, incident reports, and PPE inventory.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through consistent site presence and employee engagement.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of construction safety experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • OSHA 10 required (must obtain within 30 days if not current); OSHA 30 preferred (to be obtained within 6 months if not current).
  • First Aid and CPR certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
  • Physically able to walk sites, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and wear required PPE.
