MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Construction Safety Consultant located in West Allis, WI. Our client is an electricity and Natural Gas industry Leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Safety Consultant to support construction safety initiatives across large-scale projects. This role is responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting contractor safety performance, and providing expert guidance on occupational health and safety matters. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, contractors, and business leaders to implement safety programs, conduct audits, deliver training, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.

Responsibilities

Monitor, interpret, and apply occupational health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

Develop, implement, and support safety programs, policies, and procedures for construction operations.

Conduct safety audits, inspections, and field observations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Analyze contractor safety performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

Review incident and accident investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Deliver safety training programs and educational initiatives for employees, contractors, and project teams.

Participate in safety committees, meetings, and task forces to support organizational safety objectives.

Provide consultation regarding safety equipment, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Track and report leading and lagging safety indicators, including injury and incident statistics.

Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, labor representatives, and regulatory agencies.

Support project planning and coordination activities from a safety perspective.

Required Qualifications

OSHA 500 Certification.

Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting safety programs on large-scale construction projects.

Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and contractor oversight activities.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Experience with incident investigation, corrective action development, and safety performance analysis.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related discipline.

Utility, infrastructure, industrial construction, energy, or heavy construction experience.

Experience working with contractors, unions, regulatory agencies, and project management teams.

Training development and delivery experience.

Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
