We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Construction Project Manager to join our team. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-growth company in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of taking high-level objectives and converting them into actionable, measurable tasks. They will be responsible for managing a variety of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

  • San Diego County
  • Greater Los Angeles Area
  • Bay Area
  • Santa Cruz County
  • Sacramento Region
  • Central Valley

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation.
  • Prepare and negotiate the terms of all project agreements and ensure all parties understand both the scope and limitations of the contract.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including but not limited to, project schedule, budget, and work breakdown structure.
  • Develop and maintain project financial reports to track the progress of the project against the budget.
  • Manage and respond to project changes, risks, and quality control issues.
  • Oversee the work of subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.
  • Directly communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations and to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Implementing and ensuring compliance with OSHA 10 safety regulations.
  • Effectively manage project change orders and RFIs.
  • Coordinate and manage project submittals and ensure all documents are accurate and submitted on time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Current OSHA 10 Certification is REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven experience in project estimation and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in contract administration, change order management, RFI management, and submittal management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations, including OSHA 10 safety regulations.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
