Our organization is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in the constrution industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning to implementation. This role will involve working closely with our legal team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects, with strong skills in RFI, drawing revisions, monthly invoicing, leading buyout, vendor, and contract negotiation

Job Details

. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Work closely with the legal team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and submit monthly invoices and progress reports.
  • Handle RFI (Request for Information) and drawing revisions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Lead the buyout process and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management.
  • Proven experience in RFI, drawing revisions, monthly invoicing, leading buyout, vendor, and contract negotiation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Ability to plan and see the "big picture".
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A team player with leadership abilities.
  • Superior management and delegation capabilities.
  • High level of financial responsibility and acumen.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction and contract law.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, and Excel.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
