Watershed Builders is a custom renovation and remodeling company serving South Charlotte's high-end residential market, with the occasional custom home project as well. This is not a desk-only construction PM role. Watershed Builders is looking for a highly organized, client-facing Project Manager who can lead residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through punch list completion. This person will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules and materials, maintain quality control, communicate proactively with homeowners, and keep projects moving on time and on budget.

The Construction Project Manager is involved early, working alongside estimating before the job is sold so they understand the scope, schedule, and client expectations from the start. Key Responsibilities

• Lead residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through completion
• Assist with pre-construction site visits and support schedule planning alongside estimating
• Coordinate subcontractors, material procurement, inspections, and day-to-day field execution
• Maintain project schedules, daily logs, weekly updates, and key project communication in JobTread
• Draft and manage change orders, ensuring approvals and documentation are handled properly
• Monitor budgets, cost coding, receipts, and vendor/subcontractor bill approvals
• Maintain safe, orderly, high-standard jobsites
• Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners throughout the project
• Conduct routine site meetings and final walkthroughs
• Help deliver an excellent customer experience that leads to 5-star reviews

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 or more years of experience preferred in residential remodeling, renovation, custom home building, or a similar field leadership role
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, subcontractor coordination, jobsite sequencing, and quality control
• Comfortable being highly client-facing and communication-driven
• Experience managing fixed-price projects and protecting budgets
• Proficiency with construction software or willingness to learn systems like JobTread
• Strong written documentation and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Must be able to work in the field across the South Charlotte service area
• A reliable personal vehicle is required during the initial employment period. Company vehicle eligibility begins after 4 months, subject to review.

Pay and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 Employment
• Base salary: $80,000 to $95,000+ per year
• Expected total compensation may range from $100,000 to $105,000, depending on performance
• Additional compensation: KPI/profit-share incentives tied to schedule performance, budget performance, and customer satisfaction
• Unlimited PTO, based on performance and team coverage
• 6 paid holidays plus the week between Christmas and New Year
