Responsibilities
Responsible to schedule, facilitate, and supervise construction projects as assigned. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following.
- Review jobs to develop estimates and proposals.
- Schedule Crews to various jobs day-to-day to weeks.
- Schedule start and completion dates with customer/clients.
- Qualify price and coordinate subcontractors.
- Initial job site visits and initiate planning job with Foreman.
- Monitor job progress, quality of work, proper workmanship, and installation, and timeliness of job.
- Assist Foremen in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Closure of jobs.
- Regular site visits.
- Assist in large ticket items being ordered for jobs.
- Ensure crew is working safely with proper PPE.
- Monitor job costs.
- Update appropriate staff on job progress and/or changes.
- Work with designated staff to ensure job scopes are kept as accurate as possible.
- Follow up/verify that signed contracts are scheduled and all paperwork is in order.
- Secure Work Authorization when necessary.
- Coordinate the procurement of all necessary and applicable permits and ensure project compliance.
- Stay current on new techniques, schooling, and tools.
- Ensure proper tool and vehicle operation.
- Assist with change orders and supplements and ensure that they are signed by all appropriate parties.
- Assist when necessary in roof inspections, including reports and estimates.
- Evaluation of employees and administer discipline when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation regarding personnel and events.
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation regarding projects.
- Work with customers during Change Orders and problems by developing strong communication level.
- Assist customers with selection of materials within budget.
- Ensure new hires are being appropriately trained and acclimated to the responsibilities of their new position.
- Observe and promote safety awareness.
- Additional assignments per direction of Company President.
Requirements
- Current, valid PA drivers license
- Diploma or GED
- Passing drug screen and background check
- Knowledge of Property Damage Industry and Insurance related claims desirable
- Experience in or basic understanding of estimating is desirable
- Familiarity with basic computer/PC programs
- Xactimate estimating software knowledge desirable
- May be required to work evenings or weekends as necessary
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, planning, mentoring, and leadership skills
- Minimum five (5) years experience in trades
- Ability to assist field employees at job sites as necessary and/or required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. alone or assist others in lifting
- Regular bending, squatting, crawling, or stooping
- May push or pull, climb ladders, stand on scaffolding, ride in buckets, or manlifts on occasion

$60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
