JOB DESCRIPTION Project Manager III (Construction)As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will push the boundaries of what's possible in project management, supporting Engineering, Project Controls, Integrated Construction, and Construction Center of Excellence teams. You will make substantive contributions to all aspects of building world-class infrastructure and facilities.The Project Manager III manages construction projects including planning, execution, and completion, while maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality standards. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Operates with moderate guidance from senior project management staff on complex or high-risk decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, manage, and drive project completion while maintaining client satisfaction and financial outcomes
Provide field oversight and create customized project schedules
Support negotiation of contracts with General Contractors and subcontractors
Develop and manage all project documentation
Review and ensure compliance with state and government regulations
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with creativity and innovation
Interface with Construction Project Managers and Resident Engineers across all facets of assigned projects
Manage construction management budgets and recommend revisions as needed
Support development of short and long-term schedule, phasing, and sequencing strategies
Implement Safety, Quality, and Ethical Standards per company policies
Reinforce field safety regulation compliance among all field personnel
Perform regular site visits, monitor construction progress, and hold status meetings with sub-teams
Ensure construction activities adhere to predetermined schedules
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations
Proactively manage scope changes, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans with assigned Superintendents
Review and process invoices; support the billing process
Represent the company in project and client meetings
Build and maintain key business relationships vital to project success
Manage full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout, including:
Developing project plans, budgets, and schedules
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
Eliciting and documenting stakeholder requirements
Identifying dependencies, risks, and schedule impacts
Reporting project progress (status, risks, opportunities, roadblocks, KPIs)
Assisting in contract negotiations
Monitoring contractor progress via frequent site visits
Reviewing and approving invoices and payment applications
Evaluating and processing change requests and change orders
Assisting in resolution of payment or performance disputes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of on-site Project Management, Project Coordination, Facilities Management, or equivalent experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio)
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, PMWeb, Smartsheet, or similar
Ability to walk construction sites, climb stairs, work in adverse weather, and stand for prolonged periods
Hands-on problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; self-starter with a strong bias for action
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
OSHA Certification
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Demonstrated experience in any of the following:
Delivering results despite significant challenges or setbacks
Taking calculated risks with a bias for action
Analyzing reversible vs. irreversible decisions
Working across all levels of a project from hands-on execution to strategic planning
Business management foresight and collaboration across large, geographically dispersed programs with subcontractors
