Construction Project Manager / Estimator

Konik is partnering with a growing, family-owned commercial construction company seeking to add a Construction Project Manager / Estimator to their team. This organization delivers projects across a variety of commercial sectors throughout the Twin Cities and offers a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where employees have direct visibility and impact on projects from preconstruction through completion.

Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout
- Prepare conceptual and detailed project estimates, proposals, and scopes of work
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, municipalities, architects, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle
- Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, and project documentation for constructability and scope alignment
- Track project budgets, projections, subcontractor costs, and overall financial performance
- Support scheduling, procurement coordination, and project execution activities
- Assist with business development efforts, client meetings, and proposal presentations
- Lead project closeout activities including punch lists, turnover documentation, and final project delivery
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in commercial construction project management and/or estimating
- General contractor experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
- Experience with Procore, AutoCAD, or related construction software is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail and follow-through

Direct Hire - Compensation & Benefits
- Contract roles are paid hourly between $40-60/hour. Contract candidates are eligible for insurance and benefits through Konik.
- Base salary: $90,000–$120,000 (depending on experience).
