Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support our client in Concord, CA. The Construction Project Manager will lead final design, construction execution, and successful implementation of complex commercial‑industrial, renewable, and efficiency projects, including direct oversight of medium-voltage electrical power generation work at a federal installation.

Responsibilities of Construction Project Manager include:

  • Lead daily onsite administrative and technical management of federal construction projects
  • Collaborate with engineering and construction teams on design development, scope, cost estimating, scheduling, commissioning, and startup
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and cost control
  • Oversee medium-voltage electrical construction activities and complex facility infrastructure upgrades
  • Implement site safety and health plans in alignment with OSHA and jurisdictional requirements
  • Track budgets, job cost accounting, expenditures, and payment approvals
  • Provide regular project status reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination

Qualifications for the Construction Project Manager include:

  • Associate's degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience supporting complex electrical, mechanical, or industrial power projects
  • Experience with federal construction projects and regulated job sites
  • Demonstrated expertise managing scope, schedule, and budget across multiple deliverables
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and electrical/mechanical codes
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, MS Project or P6, and AutoCAD
  • Valid driver's license and ability to review confidential U.S. security information

Compensation for the Construction Project Manager includes:

  • Salary Range: $125,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
  • Per diem expenses paid weekly
