Construction Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Base Salary to 120k/year - Beaumont, TX

  • Our client is a growing General Contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, and educational construction projects throughout Texas and the Southeast. They are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, with responsibility for estimating, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and overall project execution.
  • The Construction Project Manager will manage multiple commercial construction projects while working closely with field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, bid documents, and contracts to determine project scope and cost requirements
  • Prepare detailed project estimates including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with bid preparation and proposal development
  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules throughout the duration of projects
  • Monitor project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial performance to ensure profitability
  • Generate and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel throughout project execution
  • Conduct site visits and oversee project progress on active job sites
  • Collaborate with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure work is completed according to scope, schedule, safety requirements, and quality standards
  • Track production, job costs, and project milestones while providing regular updates to company leadership and clients
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, building codes, and project safety requirements

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years managing commercial construction projects
  • Experience managing commercial, industrial, educational, institutional, or large-scale construction projects
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents
  • Experience preparing project estimates, quantity takeoffs, and cost breakdowns
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, project schedules, and construction documentation
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and building codes
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field teams throughout all phases of construction
  • Ability to track project budgets, forecasting, and cost control
  • Ability to travel to active regional job sites as needed

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 90k – 120k/year range
