Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial low-voltage and technology infrastructure projects throughout the greater New York area.

This role is responsible for managing access control, CCTV, security systems, structured cabling, fiber optic, and other technology infrastructure projects from award through closeout. The Project Manager will oversee project execution, financial performance, customer relationships, schedules, subcontractors, and field operations while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has experience managing multiple commercial low-voltage projects and understands both the technical and financial aspects of technology infrastructure construction.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial low-voltage projects from award through closeout
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasting, schedules, labor utilization, and profitability
  • Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and material procurement
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project scope
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and closeout
  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget
  • Support business development through relationship management and exceptional customer service

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience managing commercial low-voltage construction projects
  • Hands-on experience managing projects involving access control, CCTV, security systems, structured cabling, fiber optics, and technology infrastructure
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project documentation
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, field teams, vendors, and clients
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing enterprise security or integrated technology projects
  • Experience with union labor environments
  • Previous field experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Technician, or Project Engineer
  • Existing relationships within the New York low-voltage construction market

  • Greater New York Area
  • Fully onsite
  • Travel to project sites throughout the region as needed
