Job Title:  Construction Project Manager 5
Location:  Atlanta , GA 
Salary Range:  $85/hr to $100/hr on W2 

Introduction

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of large-scale data center construction projects from design coordination through turnover and warranty support. This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, stakeholder management, and technical coordination across various teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.
  • 8 years of experience in construction project controls, including schedule management, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and contract administration.
  • 8 years of experience in stakeholder management and technical coordination across design, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
  • Data center or mission-critical facility experience.
  • Experience serving as an Owner’s Representative.
  • Knowledge of commissioning, turnover, and operational readiness processes.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contracts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Data center or mission-critical facility experience.
  • Experience serving as an Owner’s Representative.
  • Knowledge of commissioning, turnover, and operational readiness processes.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and contracts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead meetings with landlords, general contractors, design teams, and operations stakeholders.
  • Review construction progress, schedule, budget, safety, and quality metrics.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Coordinate procurement and commissioning activities.
  • Conduct site walks and provide executive-level updates to leadership.
