Description
The Construction Project Executive - Richmond Division will:
- Lead day-to-day operations for the Richmond office and serve as the primary leadership presence.
- Manage and mentor project management, field, and administrative staff.
- Oversee a portfolio primarily focused on mission-critical and data center projects.
- Direct project execution from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, and repeat clients.
- Support business development efforts and identify opportunities to expand market share.
- Drive financial performance, profitability, and operational efficiency for the office.
- Recruit, hire, and develop project and field personnel as the office continues to grow.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to execute long-term growth initiatives.
- Establish the Richmond operation as a leading profit center within the organization.
Profile
The Construction Project Executive - Richmond Division will have:
- 10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects, preferably within interiors, drywall, framing, or mission-critical/data center environments.
- Demonstrated leadership experience supervising project teams and field personnel.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, project scheduling, and contract administration.
- Ability to develop client relationships and contribute to business growth.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help grow and scale a business unit.
- Construction Management degree preferred but not required.
