Job Description

The Construction Project Engineer assists the Project Manager with the planning and daily execution of projects. The role involves maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule, managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, and ensuring that projects are completed with quality and profitability while adhering to the Safety/Zero Harm culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financial responsibilities.
• Provide preconstruction services.
• Assist with project start-up and scheduling.
• Handle RFIs and change orders.
• Oversee submittals.
• Coordinate project administration, coordination, and close-out.
• Promote positive customer relations.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in project management and construction management.
• Experience with data centers, change orders, RFIs, project engineering, and submittals.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam and Procore.
• Bachelor"s Degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience within a general contractor in commercial construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor"s Degree in Construction Management or a related field of engineering.
• Experience in commercial construction.

Work Environment

The position requires working onsite at construction projects in the greater Tri Cities area, primarily around Boardman, OR, which is approximately 50 minutes from Tri Cities. The role offers the opportunity to support data center projects and gain exposure to more technical and complex construction projects.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Kennewick, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
